This hasn't failed me yet....

On a first date with a random chick I met at a bar or school, I call and ask them out for Saturday night (on like a Monday or Tues) after they comply, I call back the next day and inform them we have "reservations."

If going here you MUST call early in the week and make reservations. Ask for a table close to the live band, or outside (skyline view) if the weather is nice.

For some reasons the word "reservations" always makes women think $$

Upon arrival you MUST valet park. So have like $4 cash when you're leaving. (again this makes most women think $$, especially if she from the suburbs.)

The place is pretty nice on the inside, very presentable, but nothing to fancy. Always packed, live music going, beer brewing, and food cooking, all out in the open.

Dont be cheap, choose an appetizer.

Menu is printed daily, but some items like the "burger" will always be on there.

Expect to spend $20 a plate $5-$8 for beer/drinks

I only live a half a mile away from this place, so I do have that going for me, but everytime I go here with a chick on a first date I "get the panties off" lol.

It's a "word of mouth" type place in the city, located off the beaten path in a old warehouse. Has very high ratings food wise yet very affordable, not much more than your avg. Applebees....

Drive a presentable car, wear decent clothes, run minimal game, I promise it works....

It's a cool spot, but it got a little loud at times. I don't get how some people sit next to the big firepit in the middle. For a nice date I prefer the sister restaurant, One Midtown Kitchen. Get a table overlooking the park and you are good to go.

Great addition... this place is amazing. I also live just down the street and go fairly regularly. They have these cocktail tubs hanging above the bar that change regularly but they are LITERALLY:

Liquor
Fruit

i.e.- Jack Daniels/Cherries/Oranges... almost like an old fashioned but just SOLID Jack.

All of those are AWESOME and they're only like $7 I think.

AMAZING food also. Reps for the post!

i'm sure that works if you're into gold diggers...but then again you might as well skip the bs and just pay for a pro? lol

The food IMHO is average at best. not worth what they charge. I could make the same shit at home. Not impressed.

I feel like I've heard the name of this place multiple times, but never heard anything about it. I may have to check it out sometime.

I think I went on a day when the menu didn't suit my style of food. Everybody loves it but my girl took my on my b-day 3yrs ago and I just didn't like it. Very nice atmosphere though.

The food is usually great I have had a few just okay meals there. The back patio is a panty dropper though
