What you don't seem to get is that I'm busting your balls b/c you seem to honestly think that a K-swap will cost at minimum 12G. I wouldn't expect you to know what a K-swap really costs because you drive a Mazda and haven't actually done a K-swap on your own car. It's hilarious that you keep touting this 12K figure with such certainty. I'm guessing you know somebody that got a swap done at a shop and they had to pay out the ass for it. That's what happens at shops - you pay a premium to avoid doing it yourself.

The bottom line is, while some people might pay 12k for a swap, it can be done for less. A LOT less. A K-swap still costs more to do than a b-series swap, but you make as much power as a built B-series with a stock K-series. If someone is planning a built n/a B-series, they're better off going with a stock K-series from a hp/dollar ratio.

In short, just because you know someone who knows someone who knows someone that paid 12K for a K-swap doesn't make you a K-series expert. There are people who have actually done the swap and have it running in their car telling you that they paid less than 12k. Instead of recognizing that people can do the K-swap for less than 12k and moving on, you start trying to insinuate that they have stolen shit?

Nothing much. Got the sentra back on the road though. I went to put on that new shift linkage mount on and noticed the shift linkage was way in front of the mount. I was confused at first but after 30min I saw the rear engine mount was ripped off which caused the motor to cock at an angle, pulling the shift linkage and stabilizer bar much farther then it should of been, which ripped the shift linkage mount aswell. Luckly, the only polyuethane mount I did not instal was the rear one which was still laying around, so I replaced both and everything is back to normal. Did you have that crossmember/subframe welded?

Think a k swapped DA would be the first in GA. Haven't heard or seen anyone with one. Actually they are pretty rare period. Just wanna do my first real build. I tend to get rid of cars quick. Thats why I wanna do it. I just love DA's. If not it'll be a DC shell.
