If you Google this you will have all of your answers in minutes. There are entire forums dedicated to a particular chasis and even a particular engine

I googled it and it just brought up a bunch off useless info about other cars and the swap, so if anyone knows wether its feasable or not please give your input

well i got a 98 ek and was wondering the same thing. heres my opinion.

vehicle is obd2. you can buy a conversion harness that converts obd2 - obd1 for 50 bux. you can get a obd1 chipped ecu for about 150. obd1 motors and obd2 motors are about the same price. sooooo for 200 bux you can put a b18a in a 99 civic. now for 200 bux you can put a b18b engine in the car, pass emissions, and still have obd1 tuning capability just buy removing obd2 ecu and installing conversion harness and obd1 ecu.

the big point im trying to sell you is. putting an obd2 motor in might be a better route considering resell value, emissions, and all out capability.

its not a big deal to install either way.

obd2 is easier as most all the wiring is likely to be the same. you just have to change plugs from your old harness to the new plugs on the new motor harness.

im swapping in a b18b into my civic. will be running on obd2 p75 ecu for emissions. then swap in obd1 socketed ecu for boost.

plus the b18b valve cover is pretty
