got a 3" exhaust made at mainstream and then put in on the dyno for a bit to get AF and vtec set up well, still need to tune cam angles and ignition, but thats gotta wait as my fuel system needs upgrading first.

my setup
Cybernation Stage 1 turbo kit (running 11psi currently)
turbonetics 60-1 hifi ball bearing turbo (from stage 2 kit)
650cc injectors
honda kpro ecu
honda kpro boost control
MSD 3bar map sensor

first base run was about 266hp and 201tq (cant remember and i'm waiting on graphs from mainstream)
final run of the evening

350whp is attainable with ignition and cam angle tuning, but i'm going to upgrade the fuel system before a full tune

Its definitly a nice car you got and some good numbers too, it was pretty damn loud once vtec kicked in too

That's a pretty good amount of power you got there. nice car :goodjob:

damn thats a bad drop in torque.... what happened there?

What kind of fuel upgrade are you going to run? All you need is a fuel pump and good fuel pressure regulator...

other than that...nice numbers... it'll be fun to drive on the street

i think that torque drop was from where the engine speed sensor stoped reading for a sec cuz if he posted the graph w/ rpms there is just a blank spot in the curves if i remember right

there would be a blank spot on that graph as well if it lost tach signal. looks like a crazy torque drop to me.

all other graphs (time/mph) had blank spots everywhere, this one was this heh.

and i cant drive the car hard yet. its running asbout 12psi and hittin 100% duty cycle, gotta find a 5psi wastegate spring as i have the 9psi in now

100% on those 650cc? if so something is wrong.

yup 100% and cant control the boost all of a sudden (as soon as it came off dyno i couldnt)

Sorry I haven't sent the graphs yet.

About the dip in tq. If you look at the graph you will see that it is in MPH instead of RPM. The dyno does not need a tach signal to generate HP. This was the last run and we lost the tach signal in the rpm range where the torque drops. You just have to imagine that the torque goes straight across that dip.

every dyno i've ever done where we lost tach it loses the torque graph completely whether it be in mph or engine speed. just find it odd that it drops and bounces, i guess maybe it had a dirty signal or something. the ass-dyno would definitely be able to distinguish if that were an actual torque drop or just a dyno error.

i can help you with your boost control. I have the hondata boost per gear with a 7 psi spring. I'm running 7psi in 1st and 2nd and 3-6 10 psi on a street tune with a/f 11.5 and no knock. I need to get on the dyno to tune for power. I have 750 injectors and 255 fuel pump and my inject. duty is 60% at 10 psi. You are running a returnless system thats why you require bigger injectors but 100% at 9 psi might be something wrong. Fuel pressure?

looked at the datalogs and its 100% at 12psi. and i cant get the boost control to go down to 9psi :(
i was told with 3" exhaust i'd boost 10-11lbs off the 9lb springs, so i think thats the problem. i'm looking for a 5lb spring now

also, i am holding boost at 10.8psi now, had to revert back to kmanager 1.2.0.8 from 1.2.0.9

yeah, got a new uber aggressive tune, maxxes out fuel a lot quicker :(

5psi wastegate spring goes in tomorrow hopefully, then i can street tune the AF perfect, and get back to mainstream to hit ~350whp @ 10-11psi with a little ignition tuning

btw, you guys will have another Turbo RSX coming up there for an exhaust in the near future

put in 5psi wastegate spring today, running ~8psi off it. going to adjust it to ~10psi with boost controller. then see how my new tune works out. when i get some money i'll be back for a 2-3 hours on the dyno hopefully to finish out this new tune
