finally got a chance to head back to Rockingham Dragway, where i borrowed a friends 22" slicks. (i really needed 24.5, but i dont complain when it's free). my civic has full interior, power steer, cruise control, etc and is a street car. i drove it an hour out there on pump gas, bolted up the slicks and let it rip. ok, i'll shut up, here's the results.

60' - 1.945
1/8 - 7.607 (i did this on low boost, slicks were spinning and car was bogging .... i have stock axles and diff. cant afford it to break yet)
mph - 100
1/4 - 11.505
mph - 124

hopefully i'll get bigger slicks soon, and maybe race gas the car.

i dynoed 400 whp. it runs very strong to be in a full int. coupe. i keep wondering what it would do in a gutted hatch .....

I dont think traction would be as good in a hatch as it is in your coupe. get your coupe down to 2300-2400lbs with you in it and take advantage of the longer wheelbase

i would like to, but i drive the car everyday. thats the only thing that has kept me from stripping it so far
