The $ you will spend on a stroker kit, you might as well put a turbo kit on... more bang for the buck...

well if i turbo it what kind of boost can i run and how much power can i get before i have to worry about internals

search.
it depends on the condition of the engine...
but usually somewhere around 7-8
ohh....and somewhere in the neighborhood of 250whp

Turbo it
Get a real clutch
Tune it at 7-10 psi
=win?
And it will probably be cheaper than stroking it and you'll make more power.

Dude don't stroke your motor it's a waste of time and money. I stroked a LS motor one time cost me 2k for the stroker kit (from crower) and it was SHIT, motor maybe lasted 500 miles.
You want about 250-300whp for cheap get a xs-power turbo kit, put some stock LS pistons in your B16 get it tuned for about 15psi and there you go about 300whp.
Thats what i did on one of my bullshit builds 2 years ago and it's still running 12.1 in 1/4 mile.

Pistons, Rods, good bearings, and Sleeved is best bet for higher boost.

If ur on a budget use stock LS pistons (more turbo friendly) B16 pistons the ring lands will crack/brake around 9psi of boost LS will hold about 15psi but tuning is very important.
If you got the cash for aftemarket pistons, rods, sleeved block. Then go for it. But if your looking for a cheap budget build, then a cheap turbo kit and some LS pistons might be the way to go.

i am on a budget but i think i can afford to save the extra money in order to get some aftermarket pistons and rods..........because i think it will take at least if not more than 15psi to get to 350whp
