Me and my friend were board so we took a few shots of his miata once the rain stoped. It can put out 240whp w/ the boost wound up.

Yea its a sweet one too. I like both, he is only like 17 or 18. I think its pretty sweet for a 17/18 yr olds car.

VERY clean.

I like the hard-top. Clean paint too.

A different front-bumper, a bigger intercooler, and if only they made different lights for the front-bumper...similar to our 93-95 RX-7 being that same oval shape, and then '99+ front-end lights. :P

i love miatas, but that body kit is ugly. RB or not, its still dumb looking. plus 4x4 ftl.

BUT, thats some serious power on a stock motor with a tiny fmic. 1.6 or 1.8?

I don't believe 240hp with that miniature front mount.

I'm calling shenanigans on the 240wheel BS.

The 240 is what a friend told me that was with us on the way home:thinking: . I just asked the owner and he said @ 10 psi it runs 210. Its a 1.6. He said they never ran full boost b/c it would blow the engine. Sry for the mix up. lol

but then again it wouldnt be the first time a miata driver claimed an extra 70 whp

Now that is a nice Miata man.

Nice car man, I love the hard top. He said he put down 210whp at 10psi with that intercooler... that is very realistic. Even if it was 240whp at 10+ psi, that would be realistic as well if it was done with that intercooler. When you are running that low amount of psi, that size intercooler that is on his Miata is all that is needed. MANY people overkill when it comes to intercooler size and the amount of psi they are running. The end result is that you end up hurting your performance when you run one that is too large. Here is an example -

A 1G DSM stock side-mount intercooler is good to 300whp. Many people have proven this. I guarantee that FMIC on his Miata is larger than a 1G DSM side-mount intercooler and that it works perfectly for his set-up. I would much rather have an intercooler that makes my engine perform strong and efficient for my set-up, rather than my car 'look cool' because I have a big FMIC to show. PSI is an arbitrary number, and having the right size intercooler is important when matching the size of it to how much air, or psi, you are pushing through your engine. :2cents:

You have a really nice Miata man, I bet it is really fun to drive, being boosted! :goodjob:

That is Sam's car he is in high school and Mount De Sales in Macon. Its a stock internal 1.6 and it MIGHT make 200 whp max. The car is extremely clean for considering Sam is in high school and he even installed the majority to the kit himself. Props to Sam if he is on here.

Now I can believe 190-200whp from that. What turbo is he running?

I was thinking I ran up on this the other night on I20 until you said hes from macon. Some red, kitted miata wanted to play.

nice miata. really clean from what I can see. A nice set up of suspension is much more important to a miata than power. Just my 2 cents.

Yea its Sam's car. He said 210....take it up w/ him. lol. I just took a pic.:camera:
He did do all the work himself and i believe he is building another motor for it also.:goodjob:
