Seriously I don't get why the car company's have to go cheap on the tires. Seriously it irks me. Like for my 2001 Honda Prelude I got the most crudiest tires ever, the Bridgestone Potenza RE92. I thought they'd be discontinued and come to find out my Genesis Coupe is going to have them. Mind you it's the 18 inch. Seriously why can't they use something else that's half descent and wont wear out in like one year?

As mentioned above grip and wear is a compromise. You want a tire that's last get a touring tire, not a performance tire...it just won't grip. Also different size tires may have different tread wear ratings even though it's the exact same model. Majority of them are 160AA but several of them are 360AA, the higher the number the longer it will last.

Looks like the OE size on the Genesis coupe is P225/40YR19 front & P245/40YR19 rear but those sizes aren't listed in the RE92 specs. Call the dealer and ask them what the tread wear is or just tell them to put the tire you want on there as part of the deal.

yeah but the thing is...these tires didnt grip at all. No seriously they pure sucked. I mean you buy a tire with that rating you'd expect to be grippy boy I was wrong.
The tires I have a 225/45/18 and 245/45/18. Go check the reviews on tirerack. Haha.

Should've gotten a Track. Think about it this way though: You can take the money you saved from not buying a Track and put some better tires on there.

The exclaim UHP's have really good ratings on Tire Rack but I see them go out on cars all the time and people bitch about ride quality. YMMV, but I'd put them on my car, especially for the price. BFG's on the other hand are way way way more my choice, especially if you're thinking of the KDW 2's that have that freaking awesome weird tread pattern.
