Ok so lets leave out the b18 part and say that you want a GSR head........hhhhmmmmmm GSR heads would run you about 400-550 :lmfao: is that around the price range you were referring to by cost less

you would be waistin your time getting another head if you want to save money just do like everybody is telling you use your old head and for the money you would spend buying another head buy some cams

like buddy said ^ a few you can get it resurfaced for around 50$ then a head gasket OEM which i have one but it's beeing saved for later use for like 80$ so 130 you do the work your self or pay mainstream they wont charge to much and slap some cams in it for an extra 15-20 horses:goodjob:

what you really should do is get the head fixed and a b18b1 block (ls/vtech) and then you would have a nice combo. but that cost money... just putting in my 2 cents.

im just saying a stock ej gsr and a stock ej b16 would turn in favor of a gsr though But... a ls/vtech would take both so yea... (with a b16 head though) the b16 head is the best though

you might want to just reuse the same head.

kinda pointless to put a different one.
just get another h/g and resurface the head. then good to go.

but if you want to keep the gasket from blowing over and over again, get one of those metal ones. but that's on you.

I just want to know how you blew a head gasket on a B16..That's pretty hard to do.
