Ferrari Challenge is insane, I will be there too.
IMO you aren't a car guy unless you have been to races lol. ;) So hurry and come out, you learn a lot, and see things half the people call stupid. Like water bottles for catch cans on a Ferrari.

dont go to ferrari challenge unless you want to see a bunch of rich fucktards destroy a challenge stradele. been there, worked it, fixed them, not going back. just wait and save up for the Petit. that would be an awesome first race to spectate.

NO GO TO FERRARI CHALLENGE, funnest event I ever worked.
Nothing more exciting then rich drivers banging doors in Ferrari race cars. My room is full of F430 Challenge parts.
Go to SCCA events as well.

Go and get the pit pass. I always spend a good couple hours watching the Ducatis teams take a bare trellis frame to a bike in a matter of 1 hour.

I've gone almost every year since I was about nine (back when it was Big Kahuna Nationals and Speed was Speedvision). But it's just not as fun anymore, especially since you know before going that Mladin is going to win...and those prices! I'll be at car meets and work all weekend :D

Tommy Hayden beat him at Fontana so now that Ben's gone off to the World level, Tommy needs to step up and take the opportunity.
I think DMG is the real issue of why im not as excited as i was last year. They don't seem to know how to run Superbike racing in the same way they don't know how to run sports car racing.
Welcome to Import Atlanta.

Superbike is still superbike but DMG has introduced a new class and it is unclear now which is the premier race.
The classes are now
American Superbike (What was AMA Superbike)
Daytona Sport Bike (What was Formula Extreme but very different now)
SuperSport (Same)
Moto-GT (Bikes that race Daytona 8 hour)
No KTM Red Bull Rookies anymore :(
Hearing the 2 strokes was the weekend highlight for me last year.

Yeah the Kevin's kids last year were the best by far, always had me nervous, but exciting! They were quick!
Moto-GT runs a 2 hour enduro Saturday right?

I miss the 250's that used to race. Sure Rich Oliver won most, but that was my favorite class! It sucked watching the final race at Barber :(

Those fairings he trashed at 6?
I was able to go Sunday. Good weekend seeing Mat Mladin run a clinic. The "Daytona Sportbike" race was pretty good as positions changed quite a bit till the end.
No two strokes of any kind. Besides the dirt bikes, i think i saw one RG500 street machine being driven around the track and that was it. :(

There were a few 2 stroke race bikes riding around the infield, including a 125 Aprilia.
Yeah I was at T6 Sat and Sun, so after making sure he was ok and got the bike up afterward I was like, hey look free stuff lol. Even got his whole reservoir with the cover on it, still full of fluid! haha

I went both days. That 500 was up and down the street by the vendor area a lot.
