since nhra rules state that if you run at a nhra sanctioned track like commerce :2up: you have to have a external battery cutoff if you relocate the battery to the trunk, so I had Sam at Mahdavi work his skillz and do this cutoff recessed behind my plate.

so when you go to the track your taking the tag off:thinking:  :thinking:Difficult concept to comprehend though...4 entire screws will take the average IA member HOURS!

If you're smart you'd remove or cover your tag at every public event anyways. I have a plain white metal one i bought from a sign shop for a couple bucks that I used to put over mine at meets when i knew people were taking pics ;)

nice ryan... u sold your black svt? HOW DARE U!

ryan3lcsvt

Mine will stay out of boost at highway speeds if I ease into the gas, but my gt3076r spools soooo quickly I have to ease into the pedal to keep it out of boost.

Yah man I sold Vader to a friend of mine and bought a 05 Buick Rainier CXL as a dd. Its my aarp mobile, lol I wanted a more comfy dd, I had vader for 6 1/2 years. Now if I wanna go fast I will drive the boosted beast.

Yeah a few things, new Tial 50mm bov, larger stage 3 fmic, re-tuned the car, recirculated the wastegate to the uim,and thats about it for now. Very soon I will be ordering the ams1000 boost controller for better launches at the track and thats about all I can do thats left:D

Never seen a contour tuned, of course I wouldnt think to look for one either, lol. What kinda numbers does it make?

ryan3lcsvt
04-01-2009, 04:29 PM
Well I havent had it dyno'd since I did the new bov, the old rfl (crap) was leaking at the last dyno and the boost dropped from 14psi to around 4-5psi at 3900rpm's and it still made 313.9 whp, so with it making full boost all the way to about 7000 rpm's I am hoping for close if not over 400whp. Here is the dyno chart, and keep in mind this is WITHOUT my alcohol injection on.

ryan3lcsvt
04-01-2009, 05:04 PM
Yes its ran to the alt as well, if not the alt would keep the car running. And yeah it moves pretty good, lol I have had quite a few people in evo's,sti's and mustangs underestimate it

Drummerboy, no its spraying in the intake right behind the bov

I dont see what the big deal about your tag being in pics, I havent ever cared. Mine is SLOW SVT:lmfao:With the right connections it can be traced back to wherever it is registered, normally where the car(s) are kept. Highly unlikely for the typical car thief but no point in broadcasting your license plate to the entire internet.

ryan3lcsvt
04-02-2009, 10:09 AM
Well mine is kept where the battery is disconnected, covered and alarms activated, and my house alarm activated.
