I feel I need say something because today has just sucked ass.
Attending my daughter’s soccer game this morning, being very proud of how well she played so I was generally happy.
Once the game ended the opposing soccer coach fell out of a apparent heart attack. With all the people there no one seemed to know what to do except a one other.
I ran over and started helping a nurse give CPR. After 10 minutes of doing chest compressions waiting and for the damn EMS to show. (which was 25 minutes, Fire Dept showed within 15 and took over) He was still unresponsive and no pulse. I just got word about 15 minutes ago he had died at the hospital.
I can't say I knew him but he and his family lived down the street from my wife's best friend Gayln. The man had five children and wife he left behind and I will keep them in my heart and prayers.
