View Full Version : Outdoors Bullpup Assault Rifles!
I am a complete bullpup fan boy.. The principle of the configuration is so much better, I don't understand why they aren't more common than the tradition design..

The AUG was always one of my favorites and I still have never owned one. I always just thought that they looked really cool. But, yeah the design of these has so many advantages. You can have a longer barrel with a shorter overall gun length.

Saving weight and increasing maneuverability & muzzle velocity which results in flatter trajectory and longer range.. :goodjob:

Not to mention, the weight of the magazine is located farther back on the gun so you can hold it more steady for longer periods of time when shooting upright.

Exactly.. God I love bullpups..
I want a Steyr AUG.. Im looking at a used one right now, the MSAR STG 556 which is essentially the same gun.. 1,599$. I am really wanting it, these are going to be banned..

The company I work for makes the rail system for the UK SA-80 version, which has a stamped metal body.
It is definitely more stable, but try and operate it left handed and your grill be achin'.
The models shown above are awesome.

Okay, you cant say that the M16 is a bad weapon, and it is usually reliable unless u straight drop it in sand or mud with the bold cover open and sand and mud gets in the gun. But if you dont let shit get in it, it is a completely reliable gun, you just have to watch over it more than what you would do for a AK because of that one flaw.
Undermining the reliability (or lack) of a ASSAULT RIFLE that is supposed to be used in WAR..
The m16 will be unreliable no matter what.. You can't argue that.. It doesn't need to be thrown in sand or mud with the bolT cover open, it will jam just from firing average rounds in above-average conditions..
Reliability is the one most important characteristic of an assault rifle.. How effective is an assault rifle that can't get near water, sand, mud, etc.. Vietnam for example, the rice fields and swamps? Or in the Middle East, deserts? I mean, where would it be effective? Snow, no.. Desert, no.. Tropic, no.. Shit, I guess no where where we could potentially go to war..
With the undeniable leap in technological advancement of weaponry, the dainty M16 by no means is a bad weapon, it just isn't a reliable one..

fuck those stupid bullpups and the right handed bastards that designed them. Bullpup plus left handed shooter = chipped teeth and burns to the face. The only non biased bullpup I can think of is the P90. It ejects the spent rounds out the bottom...

Disadvantages:
-if the gun blows up, it will be in your face, literally
-the LOP is not adjustable
