anyone running dual boot windows/mac osx on nonmac hardware?
i'm planning on running both on my new dell laptop once it arrives... anyone have issues doing that?

The biggest issue is finding an image that is compatible with your hardware. As long as you find an image thats good with your pc, its a breeze. it can be difficult finding the correct image set though

no SSD but from what i've read this has been done before a few times w/ this chipset... we'll see i arrives today.
well got it up had some issues w/ drivers but everything is cool now. very slick setup i'll post some screen shots later.

Which image did you end up using paul?
i used the Kalaway(sp?) OSX and directions off of insanely mac... i had some issues w/ drivers but everything is good now.

almost everything worked through the install but i had some issues with airport/wifi connection and had to run some stuff through Terminal to get it to work. (insanely mac + bit torrent is all you need to get the job done)
i also had some issues running updates to software and airport update killed my wifi a 2x and i had to rerun the same script. currently sleep mode and updates to garageband aren't working.

dell studio 15xx(i can't remember exact model) but i know they have had success with them; one reason why i got one.
i've seen it on a msi i thought about picking up one of those, but i needed more power.
