Now that my little brother turned 15 hes been thinking more and more about what he wants to do to his car(E30) Ive been trying to tell him to just look for a second shell or cheap running car and build it. I even offered to give him 500 towards it. He says he would be better off just building his car little by little and refuses to listen to me who has been through 9 project cars.

someone tell him that its retarded to mess with a perfectly good running car.

Thats what i tried telling him. Once you start on a car itll never be the same. And his E30 is pretty mint.

I'd leave it alone for the time being. Later when he gets a job with money coming in, then maybe start adding little stuff here and their.

IMO, it would be better to find a 2nd car to build. cause what if something happens to the DD?
then you're just up shit creek without a paddle.

i dd my car. and its a full out racecar.

i have an extra 240. but if i only get to drive it once or twice a month, then there is no point in having it.
