Welcome to the next generation of digital SLR photography - the Canon EOS 40D. The EOS 40D combines Canon's tremendous know-how in both the digital and photographic worlds, creating a camera that not only does everything one would expect of a traditional digital SLR, but one that incorporates staggering leaps forward in technological innovation. With new features like Canon's EOS Integrated Cleaning System, Live View Function, a more powerful DIGIC III Image Processor, plus a 10.1-megapixel CMOS sensor, a 3.0-inch LCD monitor and more, the EOS 40D elevates digital photography to new heights, enhancing the shooting experience, and delivering images one could only expect from a Canon.
I purchased this two years ago this September. This camera has accidental damage insurance (I paid $300 for it and there is still about a year and a half left on it). I am willing to do the claim if anything were to happen to this after it's purchased. It has roughly 6k shots through it. I have a Scandisk Extreme 2GB memory card and an ultraviolet lens. This camera was assembled when I got it and it has been sealed (lens left on it) since. It also has screen protectors in both LCD displays. It has rarely left the house and kept in a carrying case (not included) at all times. It's a little dusty from sitting on my desk while charging the battery.

I paid about $1700 for this with tax and, memory card, warranty, and UV lense.
Starting price is $1,200 (without me "honoring" warranty 18 months left.) for this with everything except the carrying case included. I might consider parting it out. EVERYTHING that came in the box, including the box will be included.
