whats everyones take on this? Not sure if its a good idea or not, just tho i would post it up and get some opinions? I know there are already alot of fast cars here and i know of alot of up and coming cars.

Yes i agree 100%, i would think if anyone run an 12 or better they would keep there slip, so for those that posted times it would be coo if u post em up. I believe everyone here but that will keep the BS of this thread.

yep, mine sees the road every single day and get drive to the races and still runs 13's. i guess u have to be the man to have a car like that huh? lol!!!

Mine is still a street car, I have full exhaust, and just about all my interior,excluding the back seat cause of how the roll cage is made. Pw/S as well, no a/c though. Still driven back and forth to work and to the track.

Most do.... but why would that matter? this is a top 1/4mile thread.... im sure no one who runs real low times would drive it "everyday"...thats just more wear and tear on the engine...

it's not a pride thing ... i cant think of the word. it's the "damn!" effect i think. i mean, when you drive out to a 1/4 mile strip, you KNOW you will see drag cars and drag cars are going to go fast. thats what they do. but when you see a car drive in off the street, and run 11s all night on pump gas, thats impressive.

for me, i have a full interior Si coupe, power steering, back seats, no cage. i drove an hour to a 1/4 mile strip. bolted on some weak ass 22" slicks, had my tank full of 93 octane, and never looked back. stripped ass hatches will DEF run faster b/c the weight reduction, but when a full interior coupe can go really fast, its just awesome

but no doubt, im not taking any props from the hatches, where one is trapping 150 and the other isnt far behind :goodjob:

it is impressive to see that... its just we dont like to take chances... if it breaks down, i dont see myself or others calling a tow truck company to come tow our cars :D ....

on pump gas and low boost we'll still eventually break something...

nothing fatal, car was still running fine when he came back around but something was definitely leaking.

Turned out to be the balance shaft eliminator plug came loose allowing some oil to splash out of it. Plug has been fixed as have our traction issues and we will be back at the track within the next week shooting for low ten's.

My Evo gets driven ery-day to and fro work and to the gym and grocery sto and my daddy's house and my other man's house (whoops) and to the dentist and to the mall and to the salon and.....whew. I think that's enough of that :D
