The end result of drifting a 90 civic, lol. Not really. My driver side rear blew out on I drifted across 3 lanes of traffic on 1 75, took out the guard rail, and spun around 360 degrees. No one else hit me but when I hit the rail it took my bumper off and a lady was nice enough to catch it with her car. No one was hurt and she didnt want to be part of the police report so everything is alright except for the car.

Ya, After looking at the guard rail a second time, I am pretty sure they are gonna total the car. I gotta see what insurance says(liabilty ftl). But who knows, i might try and fix her but I will probably just buy somethin else.

It REALLY did look level, it actually took me a minute when it happend to find out what ttire it was. The whole tread came off like an 18 wheeler and actually passed me just as I started to slide across the interstate.

If it's liability only then insurance could care less what you do with your car or what happens to it.

What does a truck tire have to do with saying your rear tire blew out causing you to "drift"?

I was in the far left lane lane and slid across 3 lanes and took out the right side guard rail, I was usuing the truck and an example as to how the tire blew out. I used the word drift so you could get a visual of how it happened. Only way I can describe it.

yeh ... the first time me and a friend of mine tried that , we ended up at the edge of a 5 ft ditch on the side of the road .... we didnt slam into the ditch or anything but we slid down into it cause of the wet ass mud ... it was funny and shitty at the same time ... i miss that ol' ex

You can drift a Civic (or any FWD car)

You can drift a Civic (or any FWD car)People can't comprehend that drifting is about the momentum and control, not just a powerslide with smoke coming out the rear tires.

The way the car was sitting the off the side of the road, the cop wouldnt let me get behind it to got a pic of the tire but when I go and take another look at the car later this week, Im gonna get a picture of it. The damage doesnt look too bad but I am gonna take another look at it and decide what to do cause I NEED a car to go and look for jobs cause I dont have one right now. YIPPEE!! No Job and No car. lol. I did come out pretty lucky. I hit a rail with the wood posts instead of the steel ones but if yall are on 75 northbound at exit 205 take a look at the rail. Its RIGHT AT the bridge for the exit. The big dent is where I hit it.(obviously) lol. Thanks for everyones support.

I know what drifting is, but I said drifting so people coould visualize what happend. I dont know why the car went sideways but it did. Sometimes ish happens, you know.
