Lightweight's are nice but why did you get 4 fronts? They arn't exactly known for being light, rather off the E36 M3 Lightweight, hence the name. They are forged (the real ones) and very strong

Nice choice on the lightweight rims. They don't look as good honestly but id prefer function over looks any day.

Oh and clean Dakar!

i know...wish they were staggerd:( , but there real LTW cuz they were on the yellow m3 and he has the Tag from when the car was bought and the wheels were a $5000 add on option....crazy shit back in the day:screwy: ..... and they are much lighter than the conturs

You can tell they're '95's because of the Motorsports stamp around the center, the later ones don't have that.

Maybe it's just the pictures, but those don't look like real LTWs to me.

I'm certain they were staggered on the original 95CSL but I didn't know they weren't on the 1995 standard cars. Are you sure you are not referring to the 95 factory Motorsport wheels? They were not staggered.

Anyway
IIRC the authentic forged one's are a tad over 20lbs, about 2-4lbs lighter then contours, but much stronger.. The fake ones are either weaker or heavier.

not fake... real ltws ....have the BMW factory paper work and there just not staggered

I just looked up a 01/95 M3 on realoem.com and it shows a qty. 4 for the 71/2JX17 ET:41 M-Double Spoke Forged which means it came non staggered, below it however is the 81/2JX17 ET:41 as qty. 2.

That means the staggered rear was an option to the already optional forged wheels or it's referring to the '95 CSL.

Here's ALL the wheel options on a '95 M3:

From my understanding of the 1996+ M3's they put a staggered setup on to promote understeer due to too many driver error/oversteer incidences upon the release of the '95 M3.
