I watched it last night.

Wasn't bad. It was a Fast and Furious movie.

Can't expect a lot when Paul Walker and vin Diesel are your anchors. they just aren't that good of actors. But the idea was good. CGI was a little too obvious for my taste, and they didnt have the number of imports I expected. There was a good bit of comedic relief though.

I was disappointed that there was a picture of the new GTR in the movie when it should have not been available when this movie "took place".

Overall 6 out of 10. If they could find actors that weren't just eye candy for the ladies, and one's who could sell the roles, it would have been a lot better.

They best advice would be, go into it expecting the second movie, and you will be pleasantly suprised....

HOw do we know what year the FIRST movie took place in? It could have been present day for all we know i dont remember any reference to the year. So if they never mentioned a year, its perfectly plausible that it takes place during present day and this movie is in the future

It was already stated that this movie was between the 1st and 3rd. Actually the 2nd and 3rd because Bryan O'conner was reinstated as an FBI agent.

Tokyo Drift came out in 2006. The GTR was released Dec. 2007.

Anymore questions Mr. Admin??

I can't believe I'm even entertaining a discussion concerning this movie series however, for the sake of accuracy, I have to correct you.

Bryan O'Conner was never an FBI agent. In the first movie, he was LAPD and in the second movie, he was forced to work with the FBI but was never officially an FBI agent.

To play devil's advocate it could be argued that the usage of cars per the timeline between the last 2 movies is incorrect due to the fact that the current installment occured before the previous movie, where an R35 was never featured.

And yes, watching ricers indulge in ricer activities was pretty amusing.

I guess I meant reinstated into law enforcement.

I'm confused by your statement of the GTR.

the biggest clue to the knowledge that this movie takes plac e chronologically before Tokio Drift is the appearance of Han.

The fact that he is alive in the most recent installment shows that it had to take place before Tokio Drift.

I think you ppl take this movie too seriously. It's a movie. It's supposed to entertain you for 1 1/2 hours, that's it. This isn't a thought provoking series, and it isn't realistic either. So if you're looking for that then...

I guess the way I look at it is this:

If you are going to make a movie about cars, then at least be reasonable.

Don't do something that is extremely obviously wrong.

My GF even pointed out the issue with the GTR.

This is supposed to take place before the last one, this ties the 1st and 3rd together they say, thats why they talked about Dom so much and Han said he ran with Dim in Mexico, etc... and why Dom was at the end of the last one.

He played a very minimal role, to be honest...I guess it was just a way to tie in his character to the previous movie....

I liked it a lot. It lived up to my expectations. It was way less cheesy than the 2nd one. CGI wasn't bad, the regular car stunts were fairly good. However, it did lack so many of the great one liners from the 1st one. But overall, I thought it was a good entertaining movie.
