Can you Muther EF-ers get me some measurements on springs?

Measurements on stock, unmolested springs.
Measurements on any brand aftermarket lowering springs.

I need these measurements to be from uninstalled springs.

Also, mainly, are EF springs interchangeable with EG, meaning can you put EG springs in your strut perches?

Thanks. Later, QD.

I know people use eg springs with eg shocks on their cars. But what is different I'm clueless too. Not sure in how much of a size difference there is, it may be the length of the spring and the height of the perch for all I know. I'll have those Eibach spring measurements for you here in a bit.

Sorry homie, but the only set of stock springs I have to measure are on my hatch now.

As for ef springs vs. eg springs. eg springs are much taller. I tried to test fit a set of aftermarket eg springs on the rear of my crx and it raised my car up. So yeah, they will fit (atleast in the rear), but they are tall as hell compared to ef's.

I have EG springs on my car now. Stock, they are about 15" tall. A set of 2 1/4" lowered springs for an EG are about 12" tall. The EG springs in my car now are around 10" tall. Later, QD.

That's not really that surprising. I didn't know until several months ago that our cars need to have the suspension loaded when tightening all the suspension bolts. If the suspension isn't loaded then the rubber in all the bushings essentially sets a pre-load on the suspension and the car won't sit right.

So will EG springs fit on an EF? Bottom line. Later, QD.

i havent measure my ground controls, but they are about 11" tall springs. they are significantly bigger then the ones that were on my db1. i dont know if that was much help, but when i took them off to adjust them i literally said that these were big for ground controls.

yes, EG springs will fit an EF, and other way around. not sure if they are different length. here are the measurements from an EF set. 2 springs are 13 inches exact. and the other 2 are 13.5 inches. hope this helps.
