After touting heated springs over cut springs all this time, I am actually riding on my evil, lolol. I haven't had a car with cut springs since 1987 (seriously). having the car's suspension the way it was last week, I decided that it was too much. The car is too old to handle that kind of ride so I took it back over to Garage Zero to put my springs back in there. Well Dave found a set of springs in the shop that were off of an EG Civic. They were as tall as one front and one back heated spring (that came off my car) put together. So he basically cut them in half and and, fortunately, they fit just perfect in the perch and the car rides great. It's a smooth, stiff ride. Now to look for EG spring options for a lower stance again.
Below is a comparison of my heated springs and the EG springs:

As you can see, the heated springs have my car a bit lower. Now I'm onto some research on aftermarket EG springs to put in there to get it down to the same height and keep the ride quality. Later, QD.

Thanks, fellers. And I got ya, Rev. I found a set of Sprint lowering springs that would be perfect if the measurements pan out. Trying to get some folks in the EG section throw some numbers my way as well. Later, QD.

Before you assume anything, it has been stated many, many times that the car is NOT done. The car has zero dents. There are, however, a few dings. The plan, for now, was not do the complete bodywork, but to focus on the more severe areas; rust, holes and other issues. When the car goes back, the rest will be straightened out. Later, QD.
:ninja: I personally can't wait to see what's next.

Thanks. As of now, aside from getting my ride height right, I will now be focusing on the interior. All that needs to be done there is the seats, dash and carpet. Shouldn't take too long for this part as I have all the people lined up to do each and at pretty decent pricing. Later, QD.

Lolol. I'm not going balls out on a complete, perfect restore. But I do want it to look good and right. It was just going to be sanded, primed and painted, but Dave convinced me to go all out on the paint job. So I will. Later, QD.

Looks good homie. I would rather ride on cut springs than heated though. One of my buddies went and got his springs heated and it looked good then he lifted his car up on the lift and the springs just looked scary.

Heated, in my opinion, is much, much better. The springs do look rough, lolol. But the ride quality is very good. I will be heating probably one coil to bring the car down an inch or so.
Thanks for the compliment. And to you too, Boost and Milk. Later, QD.

Going to get on that man. Another member has offered up his EG springs so that Dave can cut those even lower. That way, if it's too low (like spring's out low), we can put these back in. I'm going to get out and lower these next weekend. That other member has a few sets. Later, QD.
