Everything on the laptop is good but the LCD. I wanted an Asus EEE, so I didn't put forth the effort to repair this one. It wouldn't be difficult to get a new LCD and put it in.
Again, the LCD is bad.

You can see in this last picture how the screen is fuzzy and gray when displaying anything.
I suppose this laptop would be good for parts or it could be easily repaired. Looking to get around $200 OBO for it. Might trade for aftermarket Miata parts.

No, it displays fine on a regular monitor.

did the screen just get like that over time or did it get dropped or something? just trying to see if it might the screen or the vid card, which i think i on the motherboard.

This was something that happened over the course of a week or two. First it would only do it if the screen was tilted to a certain angle, then it got progressively worse until there was no longer an angle where I could see the screen display properly.
Nismo is right, since it will display on an external monitor it isn't an issue with the video card. I figured it was the LCD and just for a backup opinion I asked one of the repair guys at Microcenter and he said it was the LCD as well.

Yeah, I got several PMs. Most of them thought it didn't have any issues and they were still lowballing me. I don't know why I post things on IA.
