After years of great service, my Kenwood CD Player is almost 100% dead.

I want to play CD's and MP3's, (and have a remote control for it all)....
I have a Visonik 600W Amp, 1 Ohm Cap. and 3 10" in the trunk.....

ANY SUGGESTIONS??????

Get an alpine. Like a 9853. Nice not too expensive(300$) and its an alpine!

I agree something like a cda 9851 even would do the trick all the way to a 9855 depending on which functions you want.

If you get the Clarion Pro-Audio head unit, it plays all of that, and its only like 200 bucks. Thats where i got it, off of carstereoexpo.com, really good head unit, really cheap! with a remote

Eclipse 8445 is what I own, ive owned 19 headunits in the past and only one Eclipse. I wont change this one for the world.

It allowed me to take my indash EQ out and use the factory 7 band eq. I love it.

The new Alpine....or the Panasonic CQC-9900u

exactly, cannot....repeat, cannot go wrong with alpine, panasonic is ok but I use to work for them and I think they're poorly assembled, not to mention the parts are cheap.

I find that the eclipse has one of the best sounds. I am a system geek, went thru lots of systems. Just my opinion.

most head units are too flashy now a days. Go with Eclipse, probably the best SQ, highest rms preout voltage, and very reasonable price. The best part is, no removable face, which means less moving parts to break or wear out. Also ESN (eclipse security network) is much more secure than a removable face.
