SVT was started in 1993. Between 1993 and 2004 a Cobra has been manufactured every year except for 2000(year of the Cobra R) and 2002. never made an 82-83. Carol shelby had made/designed mustangs before the third gen's( fox body's) but they werent SVT cars. They were going to release a cobra in 79 but never did.

nice write up but according to what ive found they did make them from 79 up until 82 then they went to the svt and in 93 they started again otherwise i wouldnt be able to find a picture of one now would i unfortunitly the previous owner thought it would be a good idea to wreck it and repaint it i dont have the original hood

nice write up but according to what ive found they did make them from 79 up until 82 then they went to the svt and in 93 they started again otherwise i wouldnt be able to find a picture of one now would i unfortunitly the previous owner thought it would be a good idea to wreck it and repaint it i dont have the original hood
