have a civic hatch with B18b and it has started to bog lightly when taking off. Im thinking it may be fuel filter.

Any thoughts anyone on what it could possibly be and solutions?

check your distributor. it might be moist or its not in all the way. that happened to me before

Nothin much just started this past week.
it hesitates somewhat (seen worse on a crx before) between 1-3rpms but very short/mild hesitations and then have no problem after 1st gear..

Well, since you think it is the fuel filter, change it. If the problem exists afterwards come back to us with more detail.

I had the same problem.
This is what i did and it still didnt fix it right away but now it runs fine.

-Changed fuel filter
-Changed EGR valve
-New manifold gasget assymbly

There is more i just cant really remember what they are right now. When i was having my problem tho it was a lot worse. It happened through every gear every single time. I had a mechanic check it out and he told me it was a clogged pipe that takes the exhaust to the EGR valve. However i never did get that fixed but the problem is gone but my CEL still comes on everytime i go above 50 for a period of time.

yup i am 95% sure its the dizzy.
