ive got a completely stock 88' 323 gt
and when the CEL is on it runs fine
and when the CEL is off its runs fine
but here lately it wants to turn on and off back a forth.
and the car shakes (if in gear) like im about to stall out or like im "blipping" the throttle
and ideas:thinking:

You need to pull the codes out, thats what the CEL is for. The codes will either tell you whats wrong or a rough idea. Could be an intermittent misfire.

i do have the same problem from time to time (seeming like it wants to stall). its usally only when ive been driving it for awhile. i do not have a CEL though so i couldnt tell you if the problem is even related to that CEL or not. but as Ant said, check the codes and you should find your problem.

oh, and cool to see another 323 owner. :goodjob:
