Rob's z31 has a very loud exhaust on it, so i guess this is what they are basing it on. Collins was in a 02 camry, so i couldn't even begin to explain why they are giving him that.

The improper starting was a way to get people a ticket for making tires spin and revving the engine too high. Until a few years ago, the police were never able to put that into an actual ticket. Probably around the time, the Fast and the Furious came out, they passed this ticket as a law.

That not true, The law has when around for a while. Back in the muscle car era or before, It been called laidin Drag. Improper Starting of has been a law since way back when too since the allmighty tuner era, IT was a law made for excessive accelration from the start. They where both pretty much the same thing but they where made back before the fast and the furious.

Someone told me that it was a recent law. I guess they were wrong.

also called exhibition of speed when you are reving your motor. even if you are in park and in a parking lot. they still use the laying drags law for some one who takes off and spins or even chirps the tires. even while moving.

anyways don't feel to bad i have a few friends that have been took to jail because some idiot next to them rev'd their motors in camry's and some pretty lame shit. cops don't care they see any car as a race car when a younger person is driving. just a fyi.
