N. Korea is getting their panties in a bunch again. I actually think this could be alot bigger of a deal than most people in the media are willing to report. I would typically call this nothing more than rehtoric, but Kim Jong Il is close to death, or at least in bad health. I would not put it past him to take a shot across the border (blaming it on us of couse) and using that as a reason to invade. He knows our military is stretched pretty far at the moment and he also knows that Obama is quickly losing political capital trying to get all of his spending through.

The US and S. Korea is currently holding their annual military games in S. Korea. N. Korea is "saying" that this is an active militarization to strike at them and has put their military into high alert.

I'm not too worried about it we have star wars project in Japan so anything they shoot towards us we can shoot down. As far as them attacking our allies; totally could see something happening.

Oh, I'm not worried about an actual missle. I am worried about 20 divisions of N. Koreas moving south of the 38th paralell.

In the article above, it stated that N. Korea would take any shoot down as grounds for retaliation. Should we or should we not shoot it down?

well if it's headed to us then we shoot it down, if not we leave him alone and give him a false sense of power. i have heard his missles have landed in alaska, that would suck b/c then i can't eat anymore king crab!!!!

This is supposed to be the first test of a long range missle. If that is the case it could reach as far as alaska. It could also be a test of an ICBM. If it is capable of putting a satalite into space then it could realisticly have the range to hit any target in the US.
