i just had a thought.... since all these hurricanes are gettin like majorly wicked strong.... shouldnt' we like RAISE the catagory's? since like everyn hurricane now a days is a Class 5.... shouldn't we reach for a maybe like a 6 and 7?

yeah this storm is getting pretty big. however. i did read that they believe that it will drop back down a little before landfall due to it being difficult for storms to remain cat. 5 because the pressures around the storm have to remain perfect, and the usually arent.

it'l still be strong, but its predicted to drop back down to a 4.

if it hits galveston hard...we're fucked as far as gas goes...the refineries there provide about 50% of our gas
