Simple Rules.

1. Post a picture of a car and ask any question pertaining to the picture.
2. Can be but does not have to be "what car is this"
3. Whoever gets the question right with enough detail, posts the next car pic question and so on.

I dont know if this is what your looking for, but on May 1st 1969 the 917 was approved by the F.I.A. to race.

My guess is it is another "truck" based on the American Jeep and built in Japan under license.
