Engine/Transmission: Mid Engine, Rear wheel drive with a 1,997cc F20C inline 4 cylinder DOHC-VTEC with 240 hp! Finshed with a great gas mileage 6 speed transmission and limited slip. Both are in excellent operating condition...the car only has 6,088 original miles since new. Ready to drive wherever! Very reliable car that you can just hop in and drive!

mid engine? what?!?

technically yes. The engine is located well behind the front axles. From the factory the s2k has perfect 50/50 weight distribution.

what are the chances of some one walking by with lots of aircraft paint stripper and accidentally throwing it all over the car? I'll actually feel better for the car.

Its not mid engine its mid-ship mounted much like an RX7 where all of the motor is behind the front shock towers.

either way its behind the front axle. Whether its behind the driver or in front a 50/50 distribution in weight is preferred however you can get it for a road coarse anyway. Straight line speed in a dragstrip type setting would prefer putting the engine in the rear over the rear axle to apply weight to keep the rear end planted during the pull.

HAHA, the fire extinguisher is there just in case that VTAK pops too hard. A piston might fly threw the valve cover, haha.
