yea me and my step tried that but it would never go on so we are just gonna go buy a 1.8 timing belt in may b it will work..... i got a question do the up arrows have to line up on both cam gears or is it safe to just put the belt back on in go from there????

Definately both cams with the arrows up and if you put the lower cover on temporarily there is a timing tab. Line the white mark up on the pulley with that tab and you should have it. Good luck with it, Hopefully you got lucky and didnt hurt anything. It can be hard to tell just pulling the valve cover.

reps 2 both of u.your in the red they mean nothing.

too small? did you loosen the tensioner thing.

man i can't think of shit today.the tensioner has nothing to do with it. he needs the right belt.
