Not being a stereo-typical mustang jackass, but DID find this article interesting. :tongue1:

http://www.stangnet.com/2010-Ford-Mustang/Drifting-World-Record-set-in-2010-Ford-Mustang-090302.html

However, I DO still realize Honda power most (if not all?) of the formula cars...

Oh, yeah, funny story. I went to the ford dealership to take a look at this new "badass" 2010.

"Can I help you?"
"Yessir, I was looking to see if ya'll had the 2010 mustang in, yet...do you?"
**looks at me like I'M the asshole...**
"No. And we won't have it for a couple months..."
**in a jackass voice**
"Thanks alot...I really appreciate your time."

I hate assholes at dealerships. Whether I do or don't end up trading mine in for a 2010 (or even something else)...that dealership won't be the one to see my business, again. If I had come rattling up in like a beaten Geo Metro, or even my old civic, maybe, I could see where the attitude would come from. Not that it's right, but c'mon, seriously? I rolled up in my 2006. I've obviously got the financing, credit, desire to own one from the past, and the time to come down and at least glance over the 2010? Fuckin' jackass, man.

Yeah, but when I bought my stang from the dealership, dude was all interested in me, and did a pretty good job of hiding the "I want a sale," attitude. My wonder about this was which car in the parking lot was his...it's a good possibility he hates his job because he sells what he can't afford. Much like many of us hate our jobs because we work on stuff we can't afford. (Not all...)

It's an information age, Ben. You should have known that the 2010 Mustang is not in dealerships yet.

They're in dealerships in Atlanta, if I'm not mistaken, and obviously closer to the dealership up there by/in Michigan. I was more taken aback by the rudeness than anything else. It's something I'd expect from Mercedes, BMW, Ferrari...but not Ford.
