I merely informed you that i have encountered alot more hondas that Topspeed , and that Topspeed was more than capable of diagnosing your car. I even said in a few PMs that i was not guaranteeing you that we could fix it, just that we could try some different things and see where we stand.

SO kid, get it right, i know more about your car than you do. I even CALLED IT when i said you would destroy your subframe an that your 1000hp diff wasnt the thing you had to be worried about. Reason i knew that , is because i worked with Turbo Dave who built the first 600+whp S2000 in GA and i was with him when we destroyed Seymour22s rear subframe the night before a race. Dave fabricated a rear housing for a 240sx in an S2000 before Inline Pro was even selling it.

Since you are too stupid to realize, we tested, IN FRONT OF YOU, power to the solenoid (it had power) and AEM was SWITCHING over to VTEC in the maps. YOUR CAR IE MECHANICALLY was NOT ENGAGING. That is an INTERNAL MECHANICAL ISSUE. That has ZERO to do with tuning. You and your brother had recently done work to the car, and completely dissasembled the head and re-assembled it. We told you (since you werent willing to leave the car with us) to check over your work.

Which is more plausible, Inline PRO magically hit the "VTEC KICKZ IN YO" button on your AEM, or there is more to the story you arent telling.....

I don't know too much about Hondas variable timing but I know that I've seen those cases numerous times with the BMWs... In the BMW world that will be called Vanos Mechanically Stuck; The engine timing will be good enought to see high revs but the car will be substancially down on power since the Vanos advances and retards cam timing all throught the power band.... DME will activate the Vanos solenoid but the Mechanical part of the equation is not there ;)

Curt Brown made 500whp on a REAL 16G (evo 3 16g, not the bigger one that comes on the evo's) with his DSM on the stock block. Same car made 438whp on straight pump gas on the same turbo. No AEM needed, as he used DSMLink.

At any rate, the BG Evo was making 560whp or so on the stock block before it let go, but it was also out of injector on that tune. I was there, and I know first hand. As for the stock turbo record, yes, it held that record for a little while too. I believe AT THE TIME, it was 440awhp or so, but obviously, strides have been made, and that was a long time ago. The 35R kit make well over 600whp, but again, the boost on this car was never ran past 30psi, where many other people with the same cars are running much more boost now. AT THE TIME, and that's they key, because we're talking 2004-2005 season, there were no 30psi pump gas Evo's, and everyone was running the same kits.

DOesnt matter if the record has been broken, for a shop to break any kind of national record, even for an hour, is an achievement. Even Olympic WOrld Records fall, sometimes in the same day that doesnt take away from the actual achievement IMO.

No one would dare say best in the country with that specific car, but BG has never said that they ONLY work on Evos, Supras, 240's, etc. Dan has tuned everything from N/A Civic's to twin turbo, 9 liter, stroker motor Vipers. The project and customer list has always been diverse.

I was one of the main people in the area messing with the 4G63, and this can be confirmed by anyone on GADSM, but Buschur was doing it long before me, and everyone else. I give credit where credit is due, but Buschur specializes in that car, where many other shops branch out to build other things. My point is that whatever project BG has decided to partake in has always been successful. The Supra, the Evo, the 240, all did VERY well, and performed exactly how they were supposed to, and the "new" car will be no different.

I dont know about 2004 but I know by 2005 there was alot of high horsepower evos. Boost solutions had a high horsepower evo before AMS did IIRC. A buddy of mine in MD put down over 800whp on his Evo in 2005. Turbo Trix Racing put down high horsepower back then. The list goes on. Not everyone posts on the internet ;) . Before all these people even hit these crazy numbers the stock block was tested to how much power it will hold. At least I know my buddy did and finding out that 5XXwhp in a stock block is where the limit for the evo motor is, is no news back in 2005. Actually I did not own an evo back then but doesnt mean I didnt know people with them or I didnt do my own share of reading. Those threads really dont mean shit! There are tons of Joe Schmo's posting dumb threads like that everyday on Evom dont mean there hasnt been alot of 5xxwhp stock block evos out there. Wouldnt even stay on always had to restart it all the damn time, worst tune I have ever seen. Another guy I know makes just over 400whp on a car that should be making over 500whp on pumpgas. I dont know about 2004 but I know by 2005 there was alot of high horsepower evos. Boost solutions had a high horsepower evo before AMS did IIRC. A buddy of mine in MD put down over 800whp on his Evo in 2005. Turbo Trix Racing put down high horsepower back then. The list goes on. Not everyone posts on the internet ;) . Before all these people even hit these crazy numbers the stock block was tested to how much power it will hold. At least I know my buddy did and finding out that 5XXwhp in a stock block is where the limit for the evo motor is, is no news back in 2005. Actually I did not own an evo back then but doesnt mean I didnt know people with them or I didnt do my own share of reading. Those threads really dont mean shit! There are tons of Joe Schmo's posting dumb threads like that everyday on Evom dont mean there hasnt been alot of 5xxwhp stock block evos out there. As for the second thread, EVERYONE "oohhhsss ahhhh" in threads where people post there numbers, who gives a flying fuck?

EDIT: To add to all this and throw some more fuel to the flame, Dan SUCKS DICK at tuning evos! One of my buddys made pretty decent powers but car completely ran like shit. Wouldnt even stay on always had to restart it all the damn time, worst tune I have ever seen. Another guy I know makes just over 400whp on a car that should be making over 500whp on pumpgas. Actually, you can pretty much call any of the big name tuners and they'll laugh at that. King of the 4G himself, Brent Rau, John Shepherd, Martin over at AMS, will all say that Dan knows what the fuck he's doing. Things aren't always so cut and dry.

Anyway, if you did your own "fair share of reading" then where the fuck were you reading it??? The INTERNET perhaps? BTW, back then, AMS were the guys that everyone chased. Now, Buschur is the man, but back then, it was certainly AMS (although Buschur always had his own thing going on and had a good Evo customer base, and was actually the person I got my first turbo kit from for my DSM), and they were the yard stick. Everyone was running AMS kits.

I'll use this last thing as a point. I used to tune all these DSM's for people back then, and the big thing was "I wanna make 400whp on pump gas". No one around here had done it, but I did it with a customer car, and when I posted the numbers, dyno sheet, and mod list, on the internet, people were like "that's just not possible, blah blah blah". Now if I were to post those numbers NOW, not only would I barely get a pat on the back, but it would probably garner responses like "that's all...?" or "why such low numbers?". Every year the game gets stepped up a bit, simple as that.

No one would dare say best in the country with that specific car, but BG has never said that they ONLY work on Evos, Supras, 240's, etc. Dan has tuned everything from N/A Civic's to twin turbo, 9 liter, stroker motor Vipers. The project and customer list has always been diverse.

I was one of the main people in the area messing with the 4G63, and this can be confirmed by anyone on GADSM, but Buschur was doing it long before me, and everyone else. I give credit where credit is due, but Buschur specializes in that car, where many other shops branch out to build other things. My point is that whatever project BG has decided to partake in has always been successful. The Supra, the Evo, the 240, all did VERY well, and performed exactly how they were supposed to, and the "new" car will be no different.
Yea I know what your saying. I just have a lot of love for BR and what they do for the DSM community. BR use to do other cars, still do, they just don't advertise it on there site. Like I said I think the stops in ATL are awesome and know alot about alot of cars, including the DSM. Just thought the "country" remark was kinda untrue.

I had and Italian chassis shifter cart from age 7 to 10 and that's how I got started on racing, also on my teen years did some amateur Rally and road course with my family... I learned from just being involve with this since I was born. My dad had a rally, road course and drag race car in Colombia when I was a kid so I just followed the blood line.

Go to extreme measures (Ian can point you better on this) is a good school to start with to learn car control, then autoX, then DEs, then open track days and then bumper to bumper racing.. :cheers:
