View Full Version : Misc What kind of name brand do you wear????

dc2teg2006
03-07-2009, 12:25 AM
I'm just curious on what other name brand is there so I can give it a try. I think I'm some what trendy lol( when I got some extra money).:2cents:

From a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most etc.
rate for comfort
rate for price
rate for value

The brand I usually wear are:
Express
Comfort: 8
Price: 6-7
Value:5-6
AE (American Eagle)
Comfort:8
Price:4-5
Value:4-5
Banana Republic
Comfort:7
Price:7-8
Value:6-7
They are relative affordable, and look good. :D

What is yours? Why you like it?
I might make a poll later, but I really don't know that much brands. Just the ones I wear.

i kinda wear whatever, name brands don't always mean anything to me, i just go w/what i like or what i think looks good. i will say though over the past 5 yrs or so i find myself disliking old navy shit...just seems cheap and never find anything that you can't find better made somewhere else.

Pretty much all my dress clothes are Kenneth Cole. I love their quality and especially their shoes. However, I don't like everything in their line, just the traditional / trendy shirts, dress shirts, jeans etc. Nothing polka dot or shit like that... lol

Sometimes I mix it up with some DKNY, Calvin Klein, Boss etc. But i haven't gone clothes shopping in years...

My summer gear is mostly old navy t shirts and shorts. Very comfortable and cheap.

I am starting to do that all the time when I am not at work. A nice pair of shoes, jeans/shorts, and a T-shirt that FITS is a very good/comfortable look.

you people have expensive tastes...

casual
old navy
dc or quiksilver
arizona

a good tshirt, i hate collared shirts, i wear tshirts 99% of the time, dont care where theyre from as long as theyre comfortable

dress
i have 2 pairs of dockers slacks, and 5 different colors button down shirts with 5 ties, i rarely wear them, havent worn a tie since november of '07, and i got forced into that because all the groomsmen got dressed the fuck up for rehearsal

i have 3 button collared shirts bought by our office for work, and i usually wear cargo pants/shorts with those

ive never been into clothes or shoes, i used to get the new jordans everytime they came out, but when you have to start paying for your own stuff it becomes hard to justify spending money on things like that, as long as im comfortable thats all that matters to me

^^ i see what ur saying, but u can buy good quality clothes for a decent price especially with this economy, everybody has sales. Even if i had money to just blow i wouldnt go crazy and spend rediculous amounts of money just for the high end stuff. Oh and I personally hate jordans.

This threads pointless no offense; it doesn't really matter what name brand you wear these days as long as you look good in whatever you buy. It's not like no one's gonna look at what namebrands or tags you wear. Only reason to be high maintenance is to attract the high maintenanced people. But if you've got the $$$$$ to do whatever; it's you're dineros. Just imagine how many lives you could save only shopping conservative. I hate it when people don't think about other things/people before themselves. You can still look good in Walmart fashion! :D
