View Full Version : Oil Leak!!!

My friend has a b16 si, and from the picture, there is some oil around where the head gasket is showing, maybe its leaking from there, but nothing is blown, because we changed the gasket 1.5 months ago, and he has driven it since then, but the leak started this week, all the head studs have been properly torqued, so i doubt it can be from that, and they are also ARP ones.
i have no idea where it is leaking from, so if anyone has any idea please tell me. Because at this point i have no idea at all.

OH YEAH, THIS PICTURE IS FROM GOOGLE, AS A REFERENCE, cause i dont have one from the car.

About the only other thing I can think of. Atleast in that area of the motor.

but the leak looks like its around the head gasket, and there is no oil leaking from the plug.

or vtec solenoid gasket

like i said, lol. had the same problem--and everything else was new gasketwise. took a couple minutes to change, and fixed my problem

Add distributor o-ring to the list.

I changed all three of those at the same time along with some other things. Look at the bright side, they are easy fixes and the car doesn't belong to you.

everything i could think of has been mentioned.
unless you got a bad head-gasket, but i doubt that.
