I'm Lauren and I live just south of Chattanooga, TN. I have 22 Volkswagens, so I won't bother to list them all... My daily driver is a 71 fastback, I have a 78 Westy for camping, a 98 mexican beetle (not that watercooled crap) with a rollback top for drop top fun... and I just bought a 73 Thing to restore

I go downtown quite a bit... went right after i posted this thread in fact!

I'm sure if you've seen me around you'd know it since there are only two fastbacks in town and the other one is quite toned down compared to mine!

my best friends first car... he was gonna sell it... i told him he couldnt... so i bought it from him... it still looks like this... he never gave me all the parts lol... but too many memories in this car of illegal activities and good times to let it go!

I like the first gen watercooled stuff though... and i did almost buy a corrado once, but the 74 autostick won that one :)

But why have so much junk? I mean, I rather spend all that money and built a few nice ones then have a bunch of rust laying around..
