Another Set of Wheels Fall Vitcim to Thieves

Well i've been sick and unfortunately home the past couple of days. So like any normal morning my g/f called me but to her surprised this is what she was greeted to. Vehicle is unmodified...except weld on low tone muffler (bought like that).

Wheels and Tires were plan jane 99-00 Si's w/ 195/55/15. Thieves are getting really bold now. This was in the Duluth/Berkley Lake Area and i know Duluth Police patrols that area regularly and well. Too bad there is not a real way to track these but if i see em i will know em.

true...cops wouldn't waste time and effort to fingerprint for something like that..... just feel bad because it's my girls car and all she wants to do is just drive. She likes cars but as you can see she hasn't put money into that....she just like admiring cars.....oh yeah, They did nave wheel locks on them....not the ones with the hex....lol. Seems they shaved down the teeth on the locks until they could grab it with some sort of tool.

Cops are nothing but a waist of time in this world. They write tickets for stupid shit done to your car and then when you need them to find some of the shit that was on your car they could care less.

Thought someone tried to steal my wheels not once, but twice. I had spent the night at my g/f's apartment and the next morning on the way to work my back wheel was making this clicking sound. Come to find out 2 of my wheel studs were broken right next to each other.....what are the odds? About 2 weeks later I found another wheels stud broken. Now she moved into my house and my ride gets to stay in the garage where she belongs at night.

That sounds kind of like my experience. Several years ago I was driving my Accord and was parked in my girlfriends apartments. My car was completely hooked up on the outside. When I was leaving, I noticed a big dent right next to the rear window and a huge rock next to the car. I assume they tried to break the window, missed, and my alarm scared them off.

People tried to break into it 2 other times also. Both times at work. First time some Asian guys with baby blue 94-97 Accord (same as mine) tried to us a key to get into it. It took about 15 minutes but was able to get my door open. The alarm went off and they took off. I took off after them as soon as I could, but could not find them. The second time was overnight and someone busted my passenger window. However, my tint held the glass up even though it was shattered. Once again, the alarm went off and they took off. Didn't get that one on camera.

after you get some wheels and get a generic set of honda keys and put them in your trunk key hole,like you forgot them un do the battery then catch them trying to steal the car, most theives freqent the area, but it might be a good idea to have some heat incase thing get sticky.... haha then call the cops

You know, you may think that, but Cops ARE NOT A WASTE OF TIME.

Scenario,

Your car gets stolen. You file a police report on it with what the car had blah blah blah. Now if your car gets found, they have a record of it and can call you back.

On the other hand if your car gets stolen, or anything really, and you don't file a report, it's on you. If your car is found they don't have to do jack shit about calling the owner.

Bottom line, if you don't bother, they won't bother.
