I like it a lot, mpg wise its good for what it is. They respond very well to modifications and can handle over 600 rwhp without rebuilding the motor. with just basic bolt ons they make 450-460hp and 475 ish tq. Downside is they are a bit heavy and the irs can be annoying sometimes but overall its great car for the price. If you want a bunch of responses id suggest posting on http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/terminator-81/

its pretty inexpensive to swap the IRS to a solid axel aswell. you can get a whole take off rear end with 3.73's or 4.10s for right around 600-800 bucks.

Well if you ever wanted to switch to a solid rear there's tons of people with gt's and mach 1s that will strait up trade for irs. But you can build it to remove wheel hop by upgrading all of the bushings

Very well said. I've driven a few but know quite a bit about them. Only "disadvantage" would be the IRS suspension. BUT the IRS is meant for corners, not drag. But like antiv6 said, you can swap a solid rear axle in there easily.

The 03-04 is prob in the top 5 for Best Bang For Buck.

I love that color!! I know a guy in Birmingham selling a mystic teal cobra that I wouldn't mind having. Does it have the matching seats?

How many mystics are sold? I've never seen that color before. Is it custom?

They were made only in 2004, the number of mystic convertibles was higher than any other color convertible produced in 04, and for coupes only black and silver had more produced than mystic. The seats in mystic cars matched the exterior and so did the steering wheel i think.

Yeah, I'd find other ways around wheel hop other than getting rid of IRS. I always thought of that as a selling feature for the Cobra, well that and the engine (but who seriously cares about all of that power).

I loved mine for the time that I had it, but it was my daily driver which I didnt like, but only because it was my baby and I hated racking up miles.

I've seen a terminator w/a twin turbo setup, STOCK block, cams, heads, pistons and rods make 873hp on race gas. His street setup was in the 600s.

Here it is:
