But when the new motor goes in I got a guy that made me an offer I couldnt refuse,so im gona sell it.So I got a 240 shell and started stacking cash for the build.Ill make a build thread im gona try and save about 8k and just go crazy w it.RHD swap wheels paint sr-20 all the goodies.Should be a fun build.

dude im a warranty admin for nalley. there is always a way around 18 days out. all you have to do is keep on them.

if your really getting into drifting go LT1/LSx for sure to TQ will be alot better than an SR motor.

hell if you dont have the cash for that go with a 6.0 LQ4 chevy truck motor, they are cheap and make good power(trevor aka BAD SS with the pewter camaro has the LQ4 in his car)

how much are you looking at spending on the swap? LS1 swaps really arent that much and I've got a buddy that can do the work for a better price than damn near anyone.

it is crazy you can go the 5.3 block chevy, put in a ls1 crank and c5z06 killer cam and make crazy power and torque for drifting for a far lower price than getting the sr swap :screwy: not too mention how much better it is cost wise if you were talking building a sr to hold alot of boost and still prob have the same torque

Hey Jason, I have an awesome idea... You ready? Swap in a motor... that YOU want in there... I mean, if you are set on an SR and want to do the whole car a certain way, do it... Most of the motors being suggested are great for a lot of horsepower... Not saying they wouldn't be good for drifting or whatever. If you really want to get into drifting, get the set up that is going to help you in that area the most... Either way, good luck Jason.
