my granddad had a fully restored 50 chevy pickup,i loved it...nows hes got a 39 & 50 ford coupes restored.

The look is perfect, rough around the edges like a broken in and gently worn pair of jeans!

I'd rock that truck everyday! When I worked in Buckhead for over 2 years I would see Bentley's, Rolls, Porsche's, Ferrari's, Maserati's, etc. every day but the one vehicle that stuck out the most was an old truck out front of the Oyster Barn every day...clean and had more character than anything else around! I want to put a 50's chassis on a newer frame...

lol... If you're referring to the '49 in the OP.... not even close. Just because it doesn't have a shiny paint job and Foose wheels doesn't mean it's a "rat rod".

That's so raw...rarely does any auto, truck or not, makes my heart jump. Absolutely gorgeous...just the way it is.

Reminds me of the truck "Cars". Love the visor...gives it more personality.
