On the b18 LS motors, there is a little black box around the back side of the engine underneath the intake manifold... Exactly what is that box there for?? Because, theres 2 holes at the top of it, but on mine, one of the holes is just open and it sprays pulses of crankcase air and tiny bits of oil out all the time. I can put my finger over the hole to stop the oil and it doesnt hurt anything, but i was wondering is this a part of the PCV system or what?:???:

thats the pcv valve box thingy. Traps all that extra stuff. IDK if its REALLY important but I do know it has to be. The PCV valve is important so I would assume u should keep it.
