This is what I heard happened. He was with his brother and they ran a red light and a car hit them. They said there was no way my friend could have made it once they saw him at the wreck. They air lifted him to the hospital but he didn't make it.

Not to sound cold, But I hope they didnt hurt the person that hit them, if they ran a red light and the other person hit them, Id hate to hear the innoscent person was hurt to bad also. Sorry for your loss though, especially since he wasnt the one driving

Isaiah was one of the funniest and coolest kids you would ever meet. Everyone liked him. I can't think of one person who didn't like him.

The guy that hit me in my car wreck (I died on the scene two times) ran a redlight. I have no sympathy for those who run a red light. Their passengers, I feel sorry for; they are not to blame. The person that was driving can ... I'll just keep my mouth shut as it brings up too many emotions/anger.

Needless to say, I hate red light runners.

Who was driving? The brother or your friend?

The brother

I am sorry to hear about your friend. I hate it that he had no control over what his brother did. It's a shame to lose someone when it is someone else's fault. With that said, when is the brother's court date? Arrested, etc. I would assume vehicular manslaughter charges will be brought forth by the state?

I haven't heard anything about that yet. Last I heard his brother was still in the hospital but was fine.

Not every red light that is ran is on purpose... I know I've accidently ran atleast 1 to my knowledge, luckily this was late at night and nobody else was around. And no, wasn't under the influence of anything at the time... Just sayin'...

To run an hit someone means that you ran it really late after it had turned red. Most people can get away with running one a split second or two after it turns red before traffic begins to move across the intersection. To actually run it and hit someone means that you were rather late in crossing and it was an obvious run.

What's really messed up is how badly the family will be affected. One son is dead while the other will be heading to jail in all probability.

Trust me, I remember that day and weeks and months that followed very well, I was very active on IA when that happened to you

damn....sorry to hear about your friend. just slap his brother though...that was a stupid thing to do.
i know how it is to be a victim of someones dumb choice while in a car. unlike ruiner, i didnt die at the scene, but waking up, hanging from a seatbelt in a burning car that is laying on it's side is as close to death that i wanna get to.
i feel for his family ...seeing as they lost one son to another sons' choice tat couldve been avoided.

to me it seems like alot of people on the site have either lost someone to accidents or been in some serious ones lately...weird??

I just heard that his brother is high on all his medication right now and knows his brother is dead but since he is on all the medication he don't really understand. Its goin to hit him hard once he gets back to normal

I'm sure running that red light was not a choice. It was a mistake caused by negligence (which humans make all the time). Unfortunately, this unintentional mistake costed his brother his life. That's enough punishment to deal with. Throughout this guys life people who were not informed of the accident are going to ask: "how's your brother." The grief will replay in his head continually until the day he dies.

/\ the above statement is based on the event being unintentional!
