Really not good at all for daily driving. You're talking about a velocity stack with no air filter, right?

I have one on a cai, but you will gain more with a short ram. You just have to cut it down until you see the most gain (while on a dyno).

yea its gonna have a 'stocking or something' for its filter... So stack on a CAI would be better then my cone filter rite?

use a cai over a short ram. intake temps kill hp and when your hood is closed it's not getting any cooler air (hotter air than when on the dyno). a large k&n style filter will be fine. the velocity stack w/o a filter doesn't do a whole lot. the aem cai tube is resonance tuned and helps speed the air through. i definately wouldn't put a stocking or hairnet (they will deteriorate quickly) because they will get injested when they break down.

I laugh because you asked if you VTEC sounded louder.
And it sounded just like a motor sucking in air... It may sound good to some, it may not.
