basically load all of your stuff from your old 360 to your new one. anyone tried this and is it pretty easy? i'm considering buying a new elite for 120gb, hdmi, etc

i did it, yeah its east when you get the new hard drive there is a cord that you use to switch them basically the console does it for you, but i bought the hard drive and did it so if you get an elite it may not come with th cord to switch them

i know about the cable but the link i posted seems like they have an ONLINE download now you can do to transfer your license to a new machine.

I had an instance where my xbox360 as a whole was stolen. I bought a new one and just put in my xbox live username and password and downloaded all my shit back like gamer points and such. The only thing that didn't download were all the cars I had in forza.

I bought a memory card from a big box store, used it, then returned the card to another store that knew nothing about me swapping 360's. I felt dirty and deceiving, but they never fixed my iPod after sending it off four times, then tried to charge me $35 for doing a diagnostic after I purchased a service plan, as well as a service plan on everything else I own, so they deserved my little switcheroo.
