well ive been holding this in for a min but its time to let it out im leaving for the army in sept. i took the practice test yesterday and scored high enough to get the job i wanted plus or minus 10 all my paperwork is complete and they are just waiting on me to take the physical and drug test:ninja:

but all and all im super excited i should have done this along time ago but im close to getting it done.

i just thought i would tell you guys so it wouldnt slip up and i start posting from basic training

my whole family is in the military one way or another so it was bound to happen i almost signed with the marines right out of high school but changed my mind i have plenty of air force rotc to give me a decent rank so im good pay wise im just trying to practice as much as i can for the asvab so i can get the job i want (mechanics) so im hoping to get what i want i wont stop posting if they let me bring my laptop if not ill do what i can to post and take lots of pics im so excited to finally get my dream started heheeheh skyline coming bitches lol

Well, the marines are said to be less comfortable with living than any other branch. While I can't validate that statement, what I CAN tell you is that I've not had a problem getting to a laptop since finishing school and boot.

You're not going to have internet access during Basic. You are locked down for 10 weeks. You may get occasional computer time during your MOS school, but once that's all over with, being in the military is a lot like any other job.
