Criticism started this game but the folks that modded back in 2000 didnt give a damn about what anyone had to say. they started their own movement and carried on how they saw fit. big kits were hot back then true but that wasnt enough, because as someone said earlier it was also about EXECUTION. i feel its the same today.

i think the cars of today are lacking personality, I think what most are now doing today is either buying a whole bunch of expensive parts to ,say "im better than the next guy" the car may be nice to look at but doesnt really say anything, just a car with shiny paint, wheels, exhaust, turbo, etc. theres no creativity put into it or just doing things half-ass;i can understand if you dont have a lot of money but at least make the car look presentable and if you cant just leave it stock until you can do so, i think cars back in the day actually had a theme they were trying to execute and we dont see that today, its just whatever as long as its low, shiny and fast whats it matter......
