i have a 96 civic which i had to change the engine in which i put in a d15b which i changed everything to obd2 but now car wont start... i have fuel and spark everythings hooked up. turns over but back fires what is wrong!!!

if u did the conversion correct. your timing is off.

crank sensor? i had a similar problem and it was my crank sensor.

CKP (crank position sensor) located in the dizzy on obd1 d-series motors. on obd2 it should be located by the crank pulley.

I'll agree with the ones on timing is off... Happened to mine too. It's your quickest and cheapest fix, also.

also wont hurt to check the rotor button in the dizzy:.. if its broken ,
had that happen to a friend
