Mine grew in like 2weeks ago, I called my dentist but they were like we dont do that so I was like fuck it I tryed. Im kind of marinating now, though I dont really want to, I think of this girl from back in the day that we would call Bug for busted up grill, which makes me want to have them pulled. Though I think Im gonna marinate some more, till I start turning into a bug.

I've had them for years, about 9 or so, and it's about time they come out. My bottom right one is starting to hurt and I think it's infected :(

They always put you to sleep if you go to an oral surgeon. I don't think they can do it any other way.

At least thats what they told me. But then again one of mine was growing at a 45 degree angle and was impacted so bad that it split in half all the way down to the root. I had a toothache for a month before I was able to go to the dentist. No dental plan.

And the other one was growing horizontal when they pulled it. I don't think it had started cutting yet though because that side didn't have any pain.

I drink atleast a 12pk a day so I only need to brush my teeth at most once a day due to the alchohol killing the germs. Im brushing my teeth now, 12oz at a time.

Mouth wash is just alcohol. It may kill bacteria but it doesn't solve any problems with binding and I am thinking its probably not good for the PH in your mouth either. See the pic of legendary drunkard Shane MacGowan I posted above... alcohol is not good for your teeth. :goodjob:

Alcohol dries your mouth out and leaves the perfect neutral environment for surviving germs to multiply. And there will always be surviving germs... germs are some hard core sons-a-bitches.

If its just beer you're drinking it wouldn't really have much effect anyway since most beer is only around 5% alcohol. It'd really just mildly annoy the germs more than it would kill them. Since beer is full of sugar and carbs it would probably help germs as much as hurt them.

If you were drinking straight 100 proof vodka you would have the antiseptic action, but once you killed most of them the survivors would just repopulate. Because your mouth would be dry from the alcohol (the acidity/antibodies in saliva keeps germs in check)

The best thing to do is to use salt water in place of mouthwash. The salt water will kill most of the germs but not corrode your teeth or dry out your mouth.

Be careful with it. Be safe and sure about what dentist you pick to do the surgery. My mother had her's pulled about 2 years ago and the guy who did it didn't use steril materials and my mom got a infection in her blood. About a month after having it done, she passed out at a redlight on her way home. About a 1 1/2 she had to go to the hospital i know 50+ times. But they could never figure out what was wrong with her. Finally after seeing many different doctor, specialst, etc... a lady doctor( can't remember her name right off) found out she had got a infection in her blood. She had already had her galblatter removed thinking it was the problem. So after all this, countless times I slept in a waiting room or on the floors in the hospital floors, etc... I found out it was because of a piece of shit dentist that about killed my mom 3 times. Yes, she had seziures just about 2 every two weeks. And it was all because of this guy. Needless to say, she is better and we will be attending court sometime this year over the matter and hopefully taking his license's to be a dentist and a shit load of money.

But seriously, look into it before you do it. Ask people about certain dentist. We thought we had a good guy doing it, but, we were way wrong. Best of luck with it man.

It's a pretty standard procedure. And I'm also fairly certain that every oral surgeon puts you out unless you ask otherwise. I had it done about a year ago (22 at the time, my teeth came in really really slow), and I was in the company of a bunch of young teenagers. Stop being a pussy. :)

It's really nothing. After one day I was out and about, back to normal life. Swelling only lasted a few, but since I have a beard, it wasn't even all that noticeable.

I was awake, but don't remember it. They gave me a valium before I went, another when I got there and then gas.... I was good to go. 2 bottom were cut out, 2 top were pulled.

Its not that bad.

They gave me 3 choices: novi, N2O, complete sedation.

I chose novi. Then my insurance gave me some shit and I didnt get any codeine lol.
So after the novi wore out there was some pain. It wasnt bad, it was much better in just 3 hours.

You can deal with a little pain, its no big deal.

Booze doesnt do shit to germs. My friend had 3 shots of vodka after surgery at a bar and got an infection from that

Salt water kills germs eh? I guess it uses osmosis to make em go "pop"?

Exactly. Once the temporary antiseptic effect is over with germs will just re-multiply. And when you get drunk your blood alcohol is way less than even 1%. Once it gets absorbed into the bloodstream theres not even an antiseptic effect. And it dehydrates you which is bad for your immune system.

I don't really know how salt kills germs specifically, but I do know that it does because they use it to preserve meat. Thats why smoked meats like bacon and ham are so salty.

I had 4 pulled out a couple months ago. They put me to sleep, he was injecting something that will make me a little dizzy, that was his last words. After that, he gave me my teeth back. I bleed a quite bit for a couple days, other than that I healed up pretty fast! But that codeine was funnnnn! lol.
